An experienced nonfiction author, Mike Mason recently turned
his hand to children’s fantasy with The Blue Umbrella and The
Violet Flash
(David C. Cook). The Blue Umbrella was nominated
for a Christy Award in 2010.


Readers get a birds-eye view of Noah’s Ark through a Scottish
terrier and a French Cat in Jenny L. Cote’s The Amazing Tales of
Max & Liz
(Living Ink). The Roman, The Twelve and The King is
book two in her Epic Order of the Seven.

Tim Shoemaker writes suspense fiction designed for boys, but
girls love them, too! Thirteen-year-old Cooper MacKinnon and
his friends find danger and trouble while learning life lessons in
Code of Silence and Back Before Dark (Zonderkidz). 

Bringing an Old Order Amish childhood to life from her very
own childhood experiences, Mary Ann Kinsinger has teamed
up with Suzanne Woods Fisher, whose grandfather was raised
Plain, to write the Adventures of Lily Lapp. The latest in the
series is A New Home for Lily (Revell Books).

Director, animator and storyboard artist Jason Lethcoe’s No Place
Like Holmes Series (Thomas Nelson) finds young Griffin sent to
live with his detective uncle at 221A Baker Street for the summer.
Mystery abounds in No Place Like Holmes and The Future Door.

While she’s known within the adult publishing world, L.L. Samson’s
foray into children’s fiction began with Facing the Hunchback of
Notre Dame
(Zondervan). Saving Moby Dick and Dueling with the
Three Musketeers
have been added to her Enchanted Attic Series.


Philanthropist, businesswoman and mother to three young
boys, DeShawn Snow still finds time to write her Lil Shawnee
Series (Carpenters Son Publishing) for young girls dealing with
life and faith: The Rumour, Keeping up with the Joneses and Taking
Center Stage
.

Imagination is Brock Eastman’s stock in trade. Writing speculative
fantasy novels is his niche with his The Quest for Truth series (P
& R Publishing) and Sages of Darkness (Destiny Image) series,
which begin with Taken and Howlsage, respectively.

Christa Kinde’s debut fantasy novel, The Blue Door (Zonderkidz),
tells the story of Prissie Pomeroy, who can see angels but refuses
to believe what she sees is true. The sequel, The Hidden Deep,
releases in May 2013.
