Author Shellie Neumeier, who debuts with the Screwtape-like twist on teen fiction Driven (Risen Books), says that writing fiction never occurred to her until recently. “English class gave me a headache,” Shellie told the blog Reflections In Hindsight. “But I’ve learned that writing is not just about the commas, it’s about the story and the characters. When they come to life in your imagination, that’s a whole lot more fun than punctuation.”
