new Quilts of Love line with her contemporary
romance, Beyond the Storm, was orchestrated by
God. After a tornado rips through her town, Abigail
starts collecting swatches of fabric she finds amid
the devastation and begins piecing a quilt from
the remnants while protecting her heart from an
appealing contractor. Concerned that the Joplin/
Tuscaloosa tornado was too raw, the book was not
selected as part of the original series. “I was disappointed,
but peaceful as I had prayed about it a lot
beforehand. All along, God was whispering to me,
