Writing her latest Amish mystery, A Perfect Square (Zondervan), author Vannetta Chapman says she was inspired by two things—working with teens the past 15 years, and her father-in-law, George Chapman. “I dedicated this book to Paw, who is suffering from late stage Alzheimer’s. I know many families are dealing with this terrible disease,” Vannetta says. “While it has its moments of heartbreak, it also has its moments of grace—as a family we cling to those.”
