How does your faith impact how you write fiction?
I write from a Christian worldview, so all my stories are told through the lens of faith. Overt faith content tends to be on the subtle side, especially in my suspense novels, because I prefer to show my characters living their faith rather than talking about it.
What do you hope your fans will experience when reading Dark Ambitions?
I hope they’re mesmerized by the twists and turns in the story, sucked into the pulse-pounding suspense, moved by the heart-melting romance, and uplifted by the happy ending.
What are you working on next?
Up next will be my sixth book set in the charming Oregon seaside town of Hope Harbor. It’s called Starfish Pier and will be out next April. And in October 2020, my next suspense series featuring three sisters involved in truth-seeking professions will debut. So there are many more books ahead!
