We
reported in the May/June issue that the next Narnia movie was set to be
The Magician’s Nephew. Unfortunately since then, Walden Media’s
contract for the series expired. Douglas Gresham, stepson of C.S. Lewis,
confirmed the news on Middle Earth radio. He says, “For a variety of
different reasons we cannot immediately produce another Narnia movie.
But it is my hope that the Lord would spare me and keep me fit and
healthy enough so that in three or four years time we can start
production on the next one… it’s in the Lord’s hands. He knows what He’s
doing better than we do.”
