Bruce Marchiano reprises his role
as Jesus in The Encounter: Paradise
Lost (PureFlix Entertainment), now
on DVD. With more of a thriller feel
than its predecessor, the movie
was shot in Bangkok, Thailand.
“If you’ve seen the old movie Key
Largo, it’s like that,” Marchiano
says. “Bad guys holding people
hostage at this resort waiting out
a storm. Jesus becomes one of the
hostages and tries to save every
soul. There’s excitement and an
international flavor.” David A.R.
White stars as a DEA agent pursuing
a drug smuggler.
