Melanie Dickerson’s teen historical romance The Healer’s Apprentice (Zondervan) has at least two sequels in the works: The second book in this series of fairy tale-based stories, The Merchant’s Daughter (re-imagining the story of Beauty and the Beast), releases in late 2011. Melanie has also mentioned plans for continuing Rose’s story with a book about her children.
