The critically acclaimed Pakkins’ Land comic book series is coming back in a series of graphic novels, reprinting the original stories with a volume of new chapters that finish the story.
During the height of the comic book’s popularity in the 1990s, writer/artist Gary Shipman first won acclaim for his engaging story and detailed artwork. “I wanted to do something I would enjoy reading myself,” Shipman says.
He hopes reader will see that “the character Paul is just a kid, (but) he has in him the potential to be honest and noble and true.”
Pakkins’ Land: The Complete Series Volume 2 (Lamp Post, Inc.) comes out this summer.
