A unique project titled 7 Hours (Tyndale House) is a digital-only collection of seven novellas unified by one very perplexing scenario, presented to the authors: “You are about to die. But you may choose from one of three options: Live seven more hours, travel back in time and relive seven hours, or accept the inevitable and die now.”
Seven authors contributed—James Andrew Wilson, Travis Thrasher, Rene Gutteridge, Tom Pawlik, Mike Dellosso, Ronie Kendig and Robin Parrish. And since each author writes in various genres, the approaches to storytelling couldn’t be more different—or fascinating. “We were hooked from the start by this fabulous concept,” says Tyndale’s Karen Watson. “It wrestles with the great human equalizer—how we respond to our own mortality.”
